İstanbulluların olmazsa olmazı olan damacana suların fiyat artışları herkesi kaygılandıracak bir hızda devam ediyor. Gelen zamlar ile 19 litrelik damacana fiyatları 2024 yılında 70-80 TL arasında iken 105-140 TL bandına yükseldi ve %50’lik bu fiyat artışı yalnızca 8 ay içinde oldu.
In response, the chamber of artisans, to which water sellers in Istanbul are affiliated, established a price tariff with the guidance of the ministry. Accordingly, 19-liter carboy water was fixed at 100 TL. Despite this fixing, the prices of private companies exceed this limit.
The reason why the limit is not respected is that water producers are not affiliated to any chamber of artisans. This independence means that the price tariffs are not binding. Producers, on the other hand, state that they try to keep prices as low as possible, as far as costs allow.
Increasing production, transportation and service costs are also reflected in packaged water prices. Logistics costs can vary significantly depending on the distance from production or sales points to consumers.
